Summary:

Rhiannon sin Lothian: An orphaned huntress, raised by great-hearted strangers. Her hair was flame; her eyes were smoldering topaz; her fearsome gift was a power waiting to be freed by one who understood it and could teach her how to use it.

Iskander sin Tovaritch: A son of the royal blood, his quest was his duty --- and his glory. Dispatched on a dangerous crusade, he journeyed over the northern polar cap of his world, Tintagel, to reach the far, unknown side of the planet, only to nearly lose his life during a violent storm at sea. At death's threshold, he first beheld Rhiannon, and in that instant, he was wed to his destiny.

From the beginning, their love was a miraculous union of heart and mind and body...a joyous tempest infinitely sated and endlessly renewed. But the price of their dazzling passion was high, for Iskander's mission would drive them to a land of darkest evil, the home of unholy creatures called the SoulEaters, warmongers who served the Darkness.

Now, for the sake of all the kingdoms they had left behind, Rhiannon and Iskander must battle the enemies of the Light --- or see the high and noble promise of their valiant love destroyed!
