Summary:

The cherished princess of a brave and noble land, Ileana sin Ariel was gifted with a sorceress's extraordinary magic --- one of the Chosen who served the Light. A warrior prince, Cain sin Khali, too, had been Chosen --- but by the Darkness, although he denied the dangerous, wicked power that could destroy him.

He lived by his courage and his instincts...and from the moment that he first gazed at Ileana, he knew nothing on their earth would vanquish his desire for her. In each other's arms, they shared a rich and wondrous passion that brought them to exquisite ecstasy. But in a fierce and fiery clash of wills, their union was torn by betrayal and mistrust.

Now, as their kingdoms are plunged into the terror of war, set upon by unholy creatures known as the SoulEaters, Ileana and Cain must undertake a perilous journey to the far, unknown side of their planet, Tintagel.

There, they must search out and seize the only weapon that can save their world --- the gleaming Sword of Ishtar --- and learn how to love again before they and Tintagel are doomed to annihilation!
